Iowa Home Care on Capitol Hill

Iowa Home Care chooses to be proactive in the home health industry. Rather than waiting for inevitable changes, we are a force that helps shape the future. We advocate on behalf of our clients and caregivers. Mr. Steve Weber, MBA CHCE, has always been active politically, helping to guide lawmakers and officials to do what’s right for those we serve. This spring finds Steve on Capitol Hill again. He will be attending the AHCA/NCAL Congressional Briefing May 20-21 in Washington D.C. Top of the agenda will be discussions surrounding the new Medicare Face to Face requirements. Steve will be working directly with many notables, including Congressman Paul Ryan, former Governor Haley Barbour and Senator Debbie Stabenow. Mr. Weber will be having lunch with our own Senator Chuck Grassley, who is a long-time supporter of home health care. Personal interaction is the most powerful tool to educate decision-makers about the advantages of home health care. Congressmen and Administrators are flooded with papers and emails; so much so that they can’t possible absorb all of the information. Direct conversations are the most effective way to tell the story of the personal, clinical and economic benefits of what we do. We wish Steve good luck on his trip, and we say Thank You for advocating on our behalf.
